Pencil Portfolio Image 1

This is a page I drew for a portfolio submission. I don't usually pencil this detailed since when I'm going to ink, I have an idea what details I'm going to add in each stage. This is probably my first time pencilling something I wasn't planning on inking This was a fun experiment. I'll post up more as they become ready.

I guess I should clarify what this is about too. I needed to make a portfolio of pencils to promote myself for when I get to Atlanta, and I couldn't think of anything of mine that was already developed and ready to draw for this. I was short on time, so I just used an idea I had for a story about Batman. I wanted to try and portray Bruce as like a 20 year old who is just barely starting his vigilante career but hasn't traveled abroad for his skills and hasn't found his symbol yet. It was an idea of mine to show his growth of just angry man to Batman, and have fun alluding to such in some early crime stoppings.
